I don't know which locks you out of more, but Taur definitely has more things written specifically for it. You can do some tests with Hardlight Naga Suit and Hardlight Taur Suit fairly quickly.

You can turn them back on with the Cheat Menu. Though perhaps the prophylactic should also be toggled.
