Yeah, the cost to do the alchemy isn't the Champion paying Ivris for the service, it's a necessity of the service. Even when you do the alchemy yourself in camp you 'pay' because the electrum is used in the process. Ivris explains it when you first ask her about alchemy.

Just a guess, based on the apparent nastiness of the magic he uses if the Champion prompts him to take revenge on the Cultist Reaver after the fight. Which I'm guessing is a miss on my part since you'd know. :D

If you poke around the forums you'll see mentions of corruption paths for various companions in various stages of planning and implementation. I think I might have stumbled upon the start of one for Quin by accident when bringing him to the Cultist quest in Harvest Valley.

There's at least one bad ending already in the game that's gated behind high corruption as well as some dreams, plus all sorts of scene variations.

There's already a shadow summon of sorts in the game (the Mistress uses them) so if it becomes possible to learn other summon types (generics rather than special ones like Kikoyo and Phyria) I suspect those would be added to the player's options at some point.
