Just checked now, and it does seem to be letting me have more than 10 consumables. I'll note, when I first came across the problem, it was right after acquiring the Sidewinder - I'm not sure if that might matter at all. But hooray!

Here's a save where I can only put 10 items into Consumables - going over shows as overloaded. Other categories I seem to be able to go over 10 - not sure about the 20 mark others are seeing. I'll also note this is a new wholly-played-on-java save, not a converted one.
