I was looking at my profile when I noticed the warning points/restrictions, what happens when you get some and how to avoid getting them? (as silly as it sounds that's the first time that I noticed it).

To avoid getting them, just don't break the forum rules and be polite. When you get some you'll get a notification about what post caused you to be warned and a message from the person who warned you.
