So as a bimbofied Steele is it pretty much pointless

You could still dump points into willpower, seeing as to how you can increase any other skill via other methods.

It's more opinion based really, do you want to increase a stat that will decrease anyway? Or would you rather put those points into something else?

Willpower doesn't do all that much, and presumably you didn't become a bimbo to have high willpower. Int depends on class, but then, Syri Dorna's Academic Bookclub means you might as well boost it (unless you have that female treated teasing perk and want to focus on lust combat).

Do you just randomly lose points from Int/Will AFTER bimbofication? AFAIK if you get Treated at Level 1, there's nothing stopping you from proceeding to max out INT/Will at every level thereafter -- you could just as easily go on to be a Bimbo Cowgirl Tech Specialist or psionic, so long as you bimbofy yourself first.

Just don't take Dumbfuck. That stuff will halve intelligence gains even from leveling and double willpower losses.

All bimbofication drugs do, no?

As far as I can tell, no. I just tested each in turn, leveling up Int after getting the Treatment and then Dr. Badger's bimbo ray. Leveling up Int worked just fine, there was no loss of points. After using Dumbfuck and leveling, I only got half the Intelligence points that I put into it.

Checked code. There are 3 perks: Drug Fucked, Weak Mind, Weak Will.

Drug Fucked halves intellegence gains, Weak Mind doubles both intellegence and willpower losses, Weak Will doubles willpower losses (stacks with Weak Mind fox x4 loss).

Weak Will seems to be stub (unobtainable), Weak Mind can be gained by treatment, Drug Fucked can be gained by dumbfuck.

There are many Willpower and Int checks throughout the game. They're calculate percentage-wise. So like a Level 1 Character with 5s has the same IQ as a Level 8 character with 40s.

Weak Mind doubles Int and Will losses, but it doesn't do anything to gains. Drug Fucked doesn't do anything to intelligence losses but it's halves Int gains. Have them both and it'll be completely impossible to be smart.

Which was necessary since you can only get up to 5 per level, we wouldn't want new players characters to be retarded even if they pick booksmart and max the int they're allowed, would we?

Who even puts points into int? Or anything but will and whatever you feel like putting the leftovers in?

The slow gains aren't that hard to get.

I like the tech characters. I usually put my points into Int and Aim with Reflex being the leftover.

I throw a balanced amount of points in my skills, well after maxing will since that has no slow gains. Though if I'd rather invest in another skill int takes the fall since its so easy to raise with Syri.

As a rule of thumb, I always stack Willpower, then alocate the rest to non-intellect stats to cut down on gym-time needed for cap.

Wait Syri can infinitely increase INT? I always thought she was hard capped for her gains. TIL.

You know, I never really looked twice at Syri. I always thought it was a way to gamble for more money, never really put time into it. Kind of silly in hindsight. I'll have to look into her.

Nope, no hard cap. It uses slowStatGain, but it is sort of broken (can something which wasn't ever working be broken?). It looks like it was intended to give diminishing returns depends on current percentage of stat, but actually uses flat stat value against flat 100 max, so you'll only really feel diminishing returns at level... 15, maybe. Same thing with gym as well.

Syri is a hell of a lot more than a gambling mini-game, apart from the int boost she gives she's got a whole lot more stuff that makes her a full character in her own right.

She's right up there with Kiro in the "You wouldn't expect this character to have such an emotional connection with Steele." department.

I don't think the game's really hard enough to warant abusing the slowstatgain for max in everything. I tried doing it once and it felt like a massive waste of time. It's like getting balls the size of a house so you can sell sperm for millions: what's the point of it even?

I wouldn't call it a fetish, but seeing those 40's all line up is satisfying as hell.

Well, it is a thin line :) Byt since it is hardly sexual, it is not accurate term, yes.

The game isn't hard enough to bother grinding in at all. Can pretty easily stomp on anything with just your level up points and quest gear.
