Just wanted this out of my brain.

It can be difficult to maintain a form you are happy with in TITS. Given the dong designer, I do not think it would be unreasonable to have a system that let you save your body state or specific transformations to help you recover them if lost. There should be some sort of cost, but as I play I find I am taking fewer risks TF-wise because I don't want to have to rebalance my desired traits, and that takes out some of the fun I think.

It would be quite expensive.

maybe a ship-upgrade? med-bay auto-doc type thing, cause it seems like reverting your entire person to a previous 'version' would be heavy duty

I was thinking something like that. It could be smaller if it generated tf pills based on your previous form though. That would be cool, and you could have it so it only had a chance of changing your traits like current tfs. Maybe every time you made a pill Xenogen billed you? But like, full body liquid suspension is ALSO cool, totally a sci-fi staple TITS could use.

Why not both? You could order custom made TF pills based on a sent genetic sample (which would be extremely expensive) from Xenogen. This would of course mean you would have to pay them each time you want to 'save' a form. On the other hand, you could buy a ship upgrade that allows you to do basically the same thing, at your ship. But this should be a much, much more expensive option (especially since there is an alternative).

I'd say 5,000 credits each for a pill? And Xenogen may take up to a week for analysis, production and delivery of end product.

The ship upgrade, 100,000 credits perhaps? I mean, it has an alternative, so this is only for those luxury ships and heavy body modders that need a most recent backup on hand almost all the time, and can't afford to wait a week.

But seriously guys, why not just save the gave. Use the transformative, and if you don't like the changes, just load the old save file? xD  Repeat until you get desired results. Or just use minerva and hack it, of course.

Savescumming being as prevalent as it seems to be indicates a gameplay problem that should have an in-game solution if possible.

True enough, and I wholly agree with you. Was just being devil's advocate there. I didn't like repetitively saving and loading either you know xD  (Keyword being 'didn't'', since that was CoC-me. Now I just use global values file and Minerva everything to achieve desired look) But yes, like the options suggested above, an ingame solution would be much preferred, as I like to keep my game rule breaking to a minimum.
